Who We Are?

Founded in 2014, GOGAN (Guardians of Good Governance and National Unity) is a civic-driven initiative dedicated to building a Nigeria where good governance, unity, and peace are not just ideals, but everyday realities. From our earliest days, we have worked to bridge divides, foster mutual respect, and create platforms where citizens of all religions, cultures, and backgrounds can work together for the common good.

Our Purpose

We are the biggest political support group in Nigeria having successfully delivered 3 consecutive elections which are 2015,2019 and 2023 across various levels of government both in the state , LGAs and federal levels of government. We believe that the true strength of Nigeria lies in the diversity of its people and in our collective ability to live and work together harmoniously. GOGAN was created to be a voice for unity and a catalyst for positive change, promoting transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in governance while nurturing an environment where peace thrives.

Our Mission

To foster good governance, strengthen national unity, and promote peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians, embracing diversity across religious and cultural backgrounds.

Our Vision

A united and harmonious Nigeria where all citizens live and work together in peace, mutual respect, and shared progress.

What We Do

  • Support and Promote Good Governance – Advocating for transparency, accountability, and effective leadership.

  • Foster National Unity – Creating initiatives and dialogues that connect communities across cultural and religious lines.

  • Encourage Peaceful Coexistence – Supporting programs that reduce conflict and build mutual trust.

  • Empower Citizens – Raising civic awareness so Nigerians understand their rights, responsibilities, and role in building the nation.

Our Journey

Since 2014, we have grown from a small group of committed individuals into a recognized movement that actively engages with communities, policymakers, and civic organizations. Over the years, GOGAN has organized awareness campaigns, educational programs, and grassroots initiatives aimed at reducing divisions and promoting a shared national identity.

Our Commitment

We are committed to staying true to our founding values — integrity, inclusivity, and service. As Nigeria evolves, so will GOGAN, adapting our strategies to meet the challenges of the present while staying anchored to our vision of a united, peaceful nation.
